 General Cleaning

Daily cleaner for Polished Quartz Surface: 
Any pH balanced general-purpose household cleaner may be used.

Polished  surfaces should be wiped or scrubbed with a general cleaner (e.g. dish soap, Windex®), and rinsed with clean water.

 Spot Removal

Quartz Surface  advanced technology makes its surface extremely resistant to damaging chemicals.  When necessary, you may use the following chemicals and products to remove stains and spills:

Acetate
Lacquer Thinner
Rubbing Alcohol

Ammonia
Mineral Spirits
Vinegar

Formula 409
Paint Thinner

Caution should be exercised in the handling and storage of any of the above chemicals / products.  Manufacturer's instructions should be exercised when using and storing these products.

Difficult Spots

Adhered materials like gum, nail polish, paint, etc.  
When necessary, you may scrape adhered materials with a sharp razor.  Quartz surface is much harder than the razor and will not be harmed by its sharp edge.  If a gray mark is left by the razor, follow the above cleaning directions for removal.

Difficult spots   may be treated with one of the cleaners listed above.  Leave the cleaner to sit for up to 10 minutes.  Scrub and rinse thoroughly.

Caution

Caution must be used for the following: 

  • Products containing oils or powders may leave a residue.
  • Repetitive use of abrasive scrubs/cleaners may dull Quartz surface finish.
  • Use of oven/grill cleaner may discolor Quartz surface and should be avoided.
  • Repetitive exposure to extreme heat may damage Quartz surface finish.

Apparent stains like coffee, food, makeup, etc.: 

  • Apply the appropriate cleaner with a paper towel and wipe.  If necessary, the area may be soaked with pads of paper towels from 3-10 minutes;
  • Scrub the area;
  • Rinse thoroughly;
  • Dry thoroughly.
