Product
Quartz surface is
the result of over 30 years of research and development. An
engineered stone product,
Quartz surface is composed of approximately 93% natural Quartz surface,
together with pigments, polyester resins and other
adhesives. These materials are subject to a high-tech system
of vibro-compaction under vacuum. This exclusive process
results in a non-porous agglomerated stone that has the look and
feel of natural stones such as limestone, granite or marble.
Advantages
Stain, heat and scratch resistant, Quartz surface
is a non-porous material, therefore it will not stain like marble
or granite and it will not warp or burn like other solid plastic
surfaces. Unlike marble, Quartz surface is virtually impossible
to scratch and is hard as granite. Notwithstanding its hard
and non-porous surface, Quartz surface manages to retain a certain
measure of flexure, therefore Quartz surface will not chip or break.
Maintenance
Free. Due
to its physical characteristics, Quartz surface is the only
maintenance-free material on the market. Because Quartz surface
is stain resistant, it is easy to clean with soap and water or an
over-the-counter cleaner like Windex®. Difficult spots are
removed by soaking the area with an over-the-counter cleaner for
up to 10 minutes and then rinsing thoroughly Unlike marble, Quartz surface
does not require the use of sealers or
impregnators. Unlike other plastics which require sanding to
remove scratches and stains, the structure of Quartz surface remains
intact as it is cleaned.
Multiple
Applications. Quartz surface
can be fabricated into numerous shapes, making it a desirable
alternative to natural stone in homes, businesses, new
construction and remodeling projects. It can be used in
making tiles, kitchen countertops, shower stalls, bathroom
countertops, sink tops, interior wall cladding, steps, flooring
and furniture.
Color
Scheme.
Quartz surface
is manufactured using different aggregates and sands. The
most common aggregates used are Quartz surface, granite chips, and
recycled glass. Computers closely monitor the production
process for Quartz surface, providing consistency of color and
texture. Colors can be duplicated allowing for separate
production batches to match previous orders. Furthermore, Quartz surface
can be produced in a vast array of colors. each manufacturer
has it own colors..
Environmentally
Sensitive. Quartz surface
is one of the
most environmentally sensitive materials for home use. It is
composed of 93% natural materials, including recycled glass and recycle
stone. is the first producer of agglomerated stone to
utilize state-of-the-art machinery which operates with recyclable
plastic instead of individual sheets of paper.
